I just order a thumper cam kit from summit for my 304 . Just to let you know you will have to get valve stems turned down to allow new stem seals to fit that goes with new cam . Your using two valve springs per valve instead of one . Unberall stem seals that are factory will not work with the summit cca-k10-600-5 thumper kit I have .

Have a 304 I’m sending off to be built, and have an AX15 and NP231J to go with it (to replace the BA-10/5 and NP207 in my ‘87). Got any tips for a first-timer when it comes to this swap?
