This is oddly depressing... the adventure leading up to launch is one that I will never forget. Exploring things that are just added, poking bugs until they do something unexpected and fun, keeping up to date on the development news... I'm gonna miss early access.

If you're buying the game with no idea what's in it, do *not* look up any Let's Plays past the first episode. This game will blow your mind so many times while you play, if you don't know what's coming. Scan and read everything, get immersed, take your sweet time progressing, and take time to smell the alien roses.

You know what I love about this. Most games come out and everyone complains. Then, two decades later, everyone talks about how great that game was.

Not Subnautica! It's freakin' awesome from the get-go and everyone knows it! I've been following unknown worlds ever since Natural Selection in the old Half Life 1 days, and they are one company who continuously stays true to their community and genuinely makes great games. Congrats on 1.0, guys!
