Is there a community of websites? like at least a list of links of dsites?

Dat project at the beginning: Create a folder, put your js and html there, run this command and you are good to go!
Dat project after several years of development: manually run fetch put from debug console to create simple hello word site. It will be stored SOMEWHERE on you local machine. Where? We not gonna tell.
Plus my favorite: you can run app created by some random guy just using a link. Why would any sane person do that? Can it read/modify my files? No information. Sandbox? No information. Can I examine the code of that app before running it? No information. Any anivirus/antimalware? No information.

WHAT IS GOING ON???
Also I can't find any technical details on "brand new" dat ecosystem website. No code examples, no protocol description. Just confusing videos like this one.
