I could fill up paragraph after paragraph of little thoughts that went behind this video, but I just want this to stand on its own. Because if it's not getting communicated, it effectively isn't there despite intentions.

BUT having said that, I'm going to be self-indulgent for a minute -
1:20 Eury reaches for the coin (hope) only to end up in Hades' hands. Read another way, Eury reaches for wealth and penny only to get a hand to hold as Hades told her. The dancing black coats in this hallucination are touched by the fates (purple) they warn her of what would happen -

There are so many tiny unspoken ideas that went into this that I dare you to find an accidental one!

Okay but the use of color, specifically at 1:48 when she turns away from Orpheus and she goes from only having half purple to embracing the fates and becaming fully purple! Thats some nice stuff right there! Great as always :)

this is amazing! the way eurydice keeps seeing orpheus everywhere only for him to keep disappearing as the fates/purple people close in around her. phenomenal

EXCELLENT as always!! The fates look so eerie and otherworldly! I love that Orpheus is always turned away from Eurydice, and how she alternates between running towards him and being unable to escape him!! It really shows the conflict between her love for him and her cynicism telling her to leave him. The whole hallucination version of Hermes' bar is so cleverly done as well, with that combo of hallucination and reality that leaves you unsure what to trust, just the way Eurydice is feeling.

I'M LATE TO THIS PARTY BUT AAAHHH lovely!!!! your use of color is always on point and I adore this visualization of the scene, it's always so cool when an animatic elevates the song!! the casino imagery, the fates messing with her (the fates' designs!!!)...it's all just tremendous!!

The imagery and movement in this is phenomenal, but I have to say the raddlesnake to coin jar but at the begining hooked me in immediately

THIS IS SO COOL aklfklsdjgs there are so many little details I could watch this over and over again and still pick up on something new every time but just some of my favorite things??? the rattlesnake coil turning into the jar of coins at the start, the visualization of the fates (!!! i swear someone else commented on another video of urs about ur use of color and there's another comment here about it and lemme just second it here gosh the contrasts just make the details pop like orpheus's bandana and the fates look! SO! SINISTER) and also orpheus only ever being seen from the back and aLSO the part where eurydice's reaching for the coin and gets the hand of hades (deATH if we wanna get symbolic) instead and just the dance she's forced into !!! that with the music break was just *chef's kiss*

there's just so much going on in the Best Way Possible every frame fits the music's beat and perfectly captures the struggle going on in eurydice's mind in such a visceral way

I can’t even properly articulate with words but omg!!!! Honestly my favorite animatic of yours so far
The use of colors, the flashing between the colorless reality and the fates’ illusion, the use of orpheus and the coin, the purple representing the fates consuming Eurydice, the camera angles, the amazing backgrounds, the very first scene with the rattle snake and coins and the transition, the first scene after the intro song w Eurydice, the coin chase scene, the card symbolism at the end!!! Just!! The entire animatic like!! It’s just So Good. Major kudos!!

I was so confused!
First time I loaded this video, it was completely black screen for the whole song, I thought the comments were just playing into a joke or something and the whole “animatic” was just the black screen!
I reloaded it though and I could actually see the art this time
