My cotton kurta (long top kind of cloth worn in India) stained with blood dripping from my ear because of a wound. I just removed various blood stains with the Ice and the toothbrush method. F——-g amazing it works contrary to what I expected . Many of the You Tube videos to solve problems are a wasted of time not to mention hard to grammatically understand this guy is a winner .

If you're here for blood stains from your period that are from long time ago, this won't help. This is only for blood that recently landed on fabric. HOWEVER, there is a different alternative for older stains! Almost two years ago a ago, I got these nice, soft yellow sheets that unfortunately got menstrual blood on them shortly after using them for the first time and the blood was them ever since. Recently, I got the Oxi Clean Max Force Gel Stick. They are slightly over $3 in stores. All you have to do is water the stained area and leave the gel on the stain. The longer you had the stain, the longer you leave the gel on. I left the gel on the blood stains for almost three days, put them in a warm wash and the stains were all gone! I was very happy with the results. Some warnings though, I would not use the gel on new fabric that has never been washed. The only negative reviews I read all had to do with it leaving a bleach stain on new fabric. I only advice the gel stick for old blood stains like my sheets there. If the blood is fairly new, use this ice cube method! It works great!
