In loving memory of Malcolm 'Molly' Duncan (1945 - 2019)
Redtenbacher's Funkestra presents 'The Masterlink Sessions' featuring Hamish Stuart (vocals, guitar) delivering a beautiful and haunting performance of his original composition 'No More days' - all live in the recording studio. A great honor to have him in the studio with us.
Hamish Stuart is universally regarded as UK music royalty, not just as the falsetto voice, guitar/sometimes bass, and songwriter with the 'classic' Average White Band line up (2 platinum and four gold records and multiple hits, including the all time classic 'Pick Up The Pieces', co-written by Hamish) , but also his subsequent work with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, George Benson, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Quincy Jones, and Atlantic Starr, to name but a few. More than that, Hamish is one of the few musicians who has worked with the two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney (for whom Hamish toured and recorded with for over a 6 year period) and Ringo Starr (Hamish returns to the US to tour with Ringo again later in the year).
