In America, when you get fired most of the time, you get nothing with no recourse unless something very unusual happens.

A doctor that I worked for just terminated my job. I did absolutely nothing wrong, but my unemployment claim is being delayed because that person claimed misconduct. I never once spoke out of anger, other than “that persons attitude is getting in my nerves”, physically hurt or did something physically wrong. But now, I am just hoping and praying that I will be able to go on unemployment. The reason I was let go was because I could not preform to that persons standards. In that persons famous words, “You’ve hit a glass ceiling on what you are able to do.” So now, I feel like I’m in a yo-yo.

I got fired through a text because she was going out of town and was in a hurry to terminate me. They fired me unfairly after I told her I didn’t have experience being in that age group (I worked in a church daycare). I kept telling her what age group I had experience with and still didn’t put me in that age group. They could have switched me to another class since they were always switching us around and still are after I left. The youth pastor basically kicked me out and told me to leave the building. Can you file a lawsuit if they give you a bad report after telling them a lot of times to put you somewhere else? Because of that accident they gave me a bad report after telling them a bunch of times to switch me somewhere else.

The government broke the law and transferred me to a different location with different job description.
They are restructuring my retirement benefits to misery, pushing me to resign.
Am I allowed for a severance package and unemployment if I do not accept these arbitrary changes and resign?

I was just terminated after a few years with the company. They blindsided me and made me feel like there was nothing wrong. Even asked me to submit my yearly business goals. According to human resources, I'm no longer eligible for severance because I was terminated and not laid off. Reason: Not meeting my PIP from 2 years ago, performance, communication.

So can they manipulate the laws to deny vested pensions if we refuse to get vaccinated? I don't know the type of pensions armed service members have, but apparently those who get fired for refusing to get vaccinated are being denied their retirement benefits.

If you are fired do you have to sign paper work from your job in order to apply for unemployment? What if your job is firing you and want you to sign whatever paperwork they give you, can you choose not to sign and still receive unemployment ?

So I applied to a job with the title “driver” and they want me to do inside work and I refuse to do it because I did not apply for that position so they gave me a strike… can I get fired for this?
