Studying for AP exams, here's what I do: When reading a chapter for the first time, I take in-depth notes, yet still cutting out the unimportant bits from the textbook; just focusing on the testable material and concepts. When reviewing, I just read through my notes instead of the textbook, only going back to the textbook if I didn't write it down or didn't go in-depth enough.

If I start from the hard part I'll not motivated enough to complete till last part and that hard part will be lost from memory after some time
That's why i start at easier part and reach till half only and get average marks
