Failing to Roast a Frozen Coffee Brand

I have it on good authority that nobody actually reads #shorts descriptions.

Some notes on this experiment that didn't fit in the short:
• The coffee was provided for free as part of a past ad read.
• This was a blind taste test. I didn't know which coffee was which as I took notes
• Every participant rated the coffees the same, with the frozen option tasting most enjoyable and the countertop one the least.
• The water was run through a Berkey filter and heated to the exact recommended temperature on a Stagg kettle
• All three glasses were of the same design, and three different spoons were used for stirring and cupping

I know what you mean. On one level, I want to promote products that I genuinely enjoy. But then... simple fact that its a promotion would make it feel like we'd only be doing it to get paid, and the harder we insist "no, we do really enjoy it!" the less honest everything would feel.

In a lot of ways, shilling for Skillshare's a lot more straightforward

I'm still not pleased that a subscription delivery service of frozen goods is advertising itself as "Truly Sustainable" but I'm glad that at least the product is actually good.

Maybe I’m naive but I feel like so much of your content is genuine (the Daily Harvest takedown is how I found this channel) that it wouldn’t have bothered me or immediately made me question the validity. I mean, Cometeer is *supposed* to be frozen, so why would it not be better from frozen? Plus, you make content that I ostensibly consume without direct payment - you deserve some sort of compensation for showing me that a BLT is only as strong as its tomato.

I think it's cometeer but from their other ads I thought their frozen coffee was spherical. Idk I don't think it will matter for me because despite having 10 different ways to brew coffee in my kitchen, I can't imagine I would ever add a frozen brand to the mix. It just seems like it wholly removes the main reason to drink coffee: the ritual.
