finally got back to finish this.. excellent! Thank you! I like the FIFO averaging idea.. I do a lot of temperature sensor stuff for my greenhouse. Would love to share the db with you and see what you sort out of it. You flipped on a BANK of lightbulbs!

Yeah fiedlbook files vs points files vs GPS raw data files.. so disorganized! I worked with Trimble and Leica equipment.. both GPS and Total Station.

I’m surprised you didn’t use pandas for any of this. Don’t get me wrong I love the standard library, but any sort of complex grouping that starts with a text file should be processed in pandas.

I liked the video but I wanted to point that with great ease I could create all the output and more (including graphs and charts) by using opening the raw data.csv file in Excel and converting it to a pivot table.
