Hendrickson Bibles publishes a color facsimile of the original 1526 Tyndale New Testament. It's absolutely beautiful, but the spelling and typeface is 500 years old and takes some practice to read.

What is the ORIGIN of the word "church" ?? Wycliff used it translating from Latin to English in 1380, BUT Tyndale translating from the Greek directly in 1525 used congregation, was the word "Church" a CREATION of the Roman Catholics thus being IN the latin?? The 2 verses in Matthew 16:18 and Matthew 18:17 could not of been talking about the "church" aka Body of Christ since the Body of Christ began at Pentacost, Origin of word church????

So then do you accept his version of John 1:1? And "God was the word"? Or are you saying Tyndale never wrote it that way? I believe it would produce the great revival breakthrough we have been looking for if it be true.
