Barbara was so beautiful. I think I was in love with her at the age of 16 in 1965, I'm 75 now and still love this wonderful song.

Oh wow..I am so glad I finally learned the title of this classic just this weekend. I'm in my 50's and always loved this song from the moment I first heard it over 40 years ago.

This song was used in the movie 'Mr Holland's Opus'. The story of a music teacher trying to teach his teenage students the value of classical music . They yawned & sighed their way through the Bach original ..boring, boring, so he played this & as it was top of the pops at the time the students were over the moon. "Oh sir, we know that song..." Nice song it reminds me in the 60's in my elementary days i'm 68 now still listening to the songs ussually during sunday here in the Philippines which features songs of the past.
