ummm first thing...why is Meghan addressing America as if she's speaking for us, or to us?? Verses just sharing her thoughts. They are not our royals, they aren't even Englands royals anymore...yuk! She sounds like she's trying to address the nation like the queen does in England..Yuk again..who does she think she is???..second, ...abortion is not written into the constitution...it never was..it was a law passed, not a constitutional right. This ruling by the Supreme Court is giving the choice BACK to the people. They NOW how have right to vote on the topic in their state...which they did not have before. Each state decides by the votes of the people...(not rioting, but voting). Third, ...People are angry, and fueling fires of anger with rioting, and protesting, without even thinking about what exactly was ruled on. Abortion is not banned, or outlawed...its only putting it back in the hands of the people to vote within their own state. I am a Cherokee citizen, and our chief sent out a statement on the tribes views, and what they are planning as far as those votes in the state of Oklahoma. Being a state that bans it..thats a big group of people voting..If its something that people are for, they can vote for it, and changed the outcome within their own state. If its something they are against, the same applies...vote!

Why do people think federal law ONLY applies to the constitution? There was never any federal law making abortion legal. It's also not in the constitution. The USSC only has jurisdiction, as an appellate court over FEDERAL issues. They have absolutely no jurisdiction over abortion and or abortion regulation, NO MATTER THEIR PERSONAL FEELINGS. The ruling in the Dobbs case was according to LAW. They have no jurisdiction and returned the issue to the people.
