I haven't done anything this in-depth in many years but back then there were very few cars they made patch panels for. The solution was say I needed a quarter panel I would go to a yard and have them cut a quarter of the entire car off for me so I could take my time getting the new one off. Generally, the new panel wasn't a heck of a lot better than the one I was replacing. Some of these guys today don't know how easy they have it.

New here used to do paint and body for a living sometimes I miss it Turing wrenches and building cars and trucks is my passion but in my small town there’s no money in it unless you own your own shop but I still turn wrenches in the garage keep up the great content !

As a hobbyist I replaced both quarters on my 68 Camero not the easiest undertaking but it's a project I got it done perfectly built a hot stroker and freshened up the 4 speed, long story short ii sold it to cover the cost of the birth of my second child for 18, 000 to a neighborshes 36 now and a mom and I'm a proud pawpaw

I'm in northern ny state. Have a few service trucks that run great but are less then good looking. Rust.
It's not good to pull into a customers driveway in a rust bucket. For me it should look good at 20 feet away.
