Those worms are boiled alive in order to obtain silk threads. That's why we don't use silk cloths. It's cruelty.

Many people are commenting about "Don't kill innocent worms". Well, that is and have been the the way of getting natural silk. One needs to realize it is not a natural process, i.e., in a natural environment only some of these worms will survive. In this case, these worms are bred specifically for this, and some of them must be allowed to mature into Moths to lay eggs for the next generation. This is exactly like what we do for Farming Chicken, Ducks, or any other Animals or Birds. However, with the advancement technology, one day we may not need to kill innocent animals, an example being the research being done to develop chicken meat in bioreactors and selling chicken nuggets made from those in Singapore.

We are cruel humans boil worm lively -kill animals for meal and taste.

Where we have 6th sense and option to choose plants and nature without killing cruelly these animals.

Killing in defense is ok. Killing for amusement like silk threads especially boiling it is completely cruel.

There is a silk worm that makes its cocoon on a tree limb and doesn’t get killed and its silk gets extracted then the worm leaves its cocoon and goes off into a moth. ❤
