One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby says the Australians need to prioritise the welfare of existing citizens, stating that the country is struggling under its current immigration rate.

"Let's look after the people that we've got here," Mr Ashby told Sky News host Amanda Stoker.

"We're allowing too many people into this country, and we are just failing."

Damage has already been done...the great Australian dream is gone for our kids. Despite our supposed low unemployment figures many of us cannot even get a job interview. Meanwhile crime wave is getting out of hand with the foreign gangs running our streets.
Well done to our "Representative Government"

Just imagine what the Netherlands is going through being one of the smallest and dense populated countries in the world.

Well said James Ashby . Can you now imagine and understand why Brits are so very fed up, cross, disgruntled and despairing ? Try looking at our figures and the huge problems attached . Good Luck Australia, fight on, protect your country - we’re with you.

Too many people definitely bring down living standard of Australia. Right now high living standard of Australia is supported by mineral sale to Asia. If Population increase significantly, per capita income from mineral sale will be much less.

Imagine Australia has same population density as China. Then Australia will have 1.14 billions people. With so many people to feed, Australia will have no means to export much LPG, coal, Iron ore overseas. Then Australia will not have much income form overseas and could not afford car, building materials, furniture, appliance, clothing, holidays etc.

And we are destroying too much Australian bushland to do it.

As John Ashby said, some of us have been trying to raise alarm about over population for a very long time. Australians don't seem to have any sense of urgency and, unfortunately, it's all too late now. Howard made the disastrous decision to treble our annual immigration intake about twenty years ago from around 80, 000 to 240, 000 and that's where it has stayed ever since. So, we are already overpopulated by at least 3 million. The current government's move to bring in 600, 000 plus on the brink of a possible (very likely) recession (and maybe a drought as well) will be the final nail in the coffin. But, the buck ultimately stops with voters who have kept mindlessly returning the same Big Australia Ponzi candidates back into government, election after election. Sorry, but if you won't support one of the minor parties such as One Nation or Sustainable Australia you are largely responsible for the current catastrophic mess. As for me, I'm calling it quits, permanently, in September in order to spend my remaining years elsewhere around the Pacific (north Pacific to be precise). I'm afraid the rest of you are, now, officially sunk.

No more in the foreseeable future. Think about it again when Aussies are back to our normal lifestyle and enough homes are available for everyone.

This is a deliberate inattentive. The government knows everything that was/is and is going to happen. Your life and happiness is the target.

Convincing people that there is no hope for them as Australians while using migration to place that fear in the hearts of innocent people.

It is then you wonder why the housing crisis is following because these people have to live somewhere also, Which means more pressure on buying or renting and the extension of that is more pressure on roads, transport and public utilities.

Perhaps I’m missing something here but what is wrong with welcoming in Americans, Canadians, British into the country, especially those with skills? Fact of the matter is AustralIa isn’t the top destination for US ex-pats in the fields. After all we’re far away from everything and some of the top places to do work are Stateside. If you have problem with freeloaders either born in Australia or coming here to suck off the government teet that’s one thing. But clumping all expats into that category is wrong. If anything your average immigrant to Australia is putting in more effort than some bloke waiting in Centrelink to pick up their pogie
