Watched Ed Sheehan in thetford Forrest around 8 years ago. 10 quid a ticket. No back up dancers, no pyrotechnics, no fancy lights. Just him, his guitar and his loop pedal. He was half way through ‘You need me’ and some girl chucked a half eaten sausage roll on the stage, he picked it up, stopped singing and literally said ‘I’m actually starving so thank you’ and proceeded to munch the whole thing. Brings a new meaning to ‘stay humble, stay hungry’

Quick story about this song..
I was coming home after a long day at university and it was just getting dark, so i stopped a taxi to drop me home. I sat in the back seats, where this girl was sitting aswell. This song started playing after about 10 minutes i entered the taxi and it was my first time listening to it. It got me tapping my leg, my fingers etc. The girl noticed me enjoying the song, moved next to me, tapped my shoulder with hers and started jamming with me. Her eyes were so... clear and her smile was so warm.. it felt like we knew each other forever. We had a chat, we laughed and then the taxi driver told me "we're here". I told her "thank you, i had a great time... goodbye" and left. When i got home i thought to myself, why didn't i ask for her socials or her phone? I got so sad thinking i'll never get to see her again... But at least i have this song to remind me of those 10 minutes we were together in that taxi...😔

Never found this girl, took me couple of months to stop thinking of this moment with her.

Now, falling for my coworker who is bit older than me and i just feel like i wont ever man up to tell her and she will slip out of my life too... Love will never be easy 😔
