The way she was treated (with all the allegations that were NEVER proven) was really infuriating. Her death was truly heartbreaking.

Flo would be proud of Simone's performance at this year's Olympics and 2020's and 2012's.😊😊

I like how she and Sha'Carri Richardson get all dolled up for their races.😊

Beauty and talent all combined. A tragic loss, so young.

I grew up when Flo-Jo was kicking everyone’s butts. Her nails were so famous and to me, quite scary. Even though I was never a runner or really a fan of track and field, I watched the Olympics religiously. When she passed I was devastated that such a seemingly healthy and vibrant woman had died. I was a teenager at the time and I think it was the first time I realized even “healthy” people could pass away. ❤🙏

I'm old enough to remember the racism she had to endure.

An athlete's organs may naturally enlarge to accomodate the extreme exertion.

On the PEDs, fellow sprinter Daryl Robinson said he used to buy her HGH which as we know, isn't easily detectable...

Let her rest in peace…she passed every test so she was clean.

I dont care about the steroids because a lot of sprinters at her time and continuing to present day are on steroids. However, what is very annoying about her record is that it was assisted by the wind and that is the only reason her record still stands today. There are a few great videos here on youtube you can watch which will prove that she was aided by the wind. Just type in The 100 Meter World Record: The Impossible Mystery Of Florence Griffith Joyner or watch any other one on this topic

It was always suspicious the manner in which Flo-Jo suddenly became a world beater late in her career after being average before then. Dying young from a heart attack just added to the suspicion.

Passes 11 drug tests and still got a bad rap. That’s messed up 😤

Not mentioning Elaine Thompson's 10.54 is a glaring omission in any sprint conversation

Track and Field News's take set out in its list of women's world records:
100 10.49 Florence Griffith Joyner (US) Indianapolis, Indiana 7/16/88

[T&FN believes the 10.49 race was illegally wind-aided and should never have been accepted as the WR.
We believe the real fastest is 10.54 Elaine Thompson-Herah (Jamaica) Eugene, Oregon 8/21/21]
