Looks dank but why not just mix the cream cheese in after you chop the veggies up

Who tf smears cream cheese on a wooden chopping board. What is he planning to do, grown a mushroom colony on that board? All these things could be chopped separately and then mixed in a bowl. But I guess that would be too hygienic to eat. The recipe demands food being scrapped from a board to bagel coz applying it with a spoon is too regular.
