Thank you for covering this update, bc I thought this update wasn’t quite enough to pull me back in, but all the QoL changes are HUGE and honestly resolved a ton of criticisms I had a launch, so I’m thinking I might dive back in.

just letting you and everyone else knows the ring of mercy does work if you're riding a pal then, the pal damage won't completely take out the pal you're trying to capture

Really great to see the devs adding QoL changes and new content to the game. I really like the new ore mining spots since that allows you to focus more on cool looking base locations rather than purely functional ones. I do wonder if they'll add quartz mining spots sometime later on since that would be the only ore/mineral bottleneck in multiplayer servers.

I’m looking forward to the finished product of this game. I do agree that the multiplayer needs a bit of a rework. One thing they could do to help such things is create a separate island. Let’s call it phase island for those players to build a base not counting towards the cap. Which main purpose to to be an outpost when initiating multiplayer please let us use offline as well. So we can sort pets and have decent production maybe even invite friends to let them see things will definitely need like a party leader invite system implemented on top of multiplayer to do so so either or can see each others base. It’s just like the concept of world of warcrafts garrisons that were introduced it has a phasing aspect so not matter who flies over it your base is technically immune to other players interact with it unless you invite. It’s a long post comment whatever but it would be welcome!!!

Some stuff has been there for a while thou, like: The How many Pal´s captured counter, the Ore Mining Site, Ring of Mercy, Homeward Thundercloud, Chest Setting´s, Allow transport by Pal
and The (IV) Fruits (they permanently add 10% to your Pals IV Stats, like Attack, Defence and Health. IV is a hidden stat, that you can see with the Ability Glass. IV is a percentage of how effective a stat is ...kinda)
...and PS: You can switch out the Ring of Mercy while in combat :)

Yes it does change IVs and those changes are passed down in breeding, I know from my own experience and from everyone else in the palworld subreddit agreeing that it works for them.
It is awesome that these are sold now, because before these fruits existed, but only as a reward for beating bellanoir libero and libero ultra.

THX for preview austin! I haven't been excited for a update for a game for a very very long time. But with the big palworld update I am. For me as a breeder the best news is to hear that you can finally have a bigger palbox. I always struggled a lot with it. The biggest thing I am afraid of is the changes to the breeding system. I love it the way it is. So hopefully its more like an addition than a complete change.

One last note: I wish you maybe had played while the smaller update came out. A lot of stuff you mentioned was there before the big update. Like the update to the box sorting system and the elixirs that buff the IVs of the Pals.

One comment I wanted to make for those who hadn't grinded to get to level 50 yet (me, I'm those who didn't get to level 50 yet), early game has one difference I've seen so far - some of the new pals will be in old areas at lower levels. I was so sad when my love big frog was at level 42 and almost decimated me. The squeals of glee I had when I was running around an old beach and saw level 4 frogs, boy was I so excited. Big frog is love, big frog is life
