Yes! You are the best sir! I am an American reenactor in Virginia and will be taking part in many of the 250th events to remember the American Revolution. I greatly look forward to this pursuit and to have historians like you join on the journey!

The Washington fife motif through out was great — starting out quiet, then gradually growing at every mention of him until the final crescendo upon his appointment.

These videos are "90s History Channel" grade. That's how good they are.

It's great that Epic History would post this on a special day. The anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord. That's something.

Here, I thought the Battle of Marengo video was peak Epic History, but then they released this video, and I can already tell that this may become my favorite series.

Discussing the Battle of Lexington, its important to note Captian Parker had actually ordered his militiamen to disperse, because the British were threatening to charge with bayonets, and then the shot was fired. And while we shall never conclusively prove who fired that shot, it was almost certainly a militiaman or an American colonial nearby. With the British in ranks directly in front, if any of them fired they would've been seen, and American publishers would've been all over it like they had been with the Boston Massacre. Additionally some of the American militia had been at the local tavern drinking for much of the night, which would add to the likelihood they fired first, a panicking (possibly drunk) colonial firing as they were ordered to disperse and worried about the possibility of a British charge. Its interesting to note the same thing happening in reverse later at the North Bridge, the Colonials press the British, and a panicking soldier fired first followed by his comrades, and the American militia responded with a better more disciplined volley. Its the exact same situation as Lexington with the roles reversed

When I was a kid in the 80s, I got to go visit my Uncle, and Aunt in Boston. God Bless them, they took this goofy kid from the mountains all around New England. Bunker Hill, Salem, Plymouth, Plymouth Rock, the Old North Church, Paul Reveres house. ( He wasn't home, lol)
I got to go onboard the U.S.S. Constitution, and the Cassin B. Young. It gave me a love for history. I even got to go see the Boston Red Socks play. I got to walk around the skyscrapers. You folks have a beautiful city. The whole of New England is a beautiful region.
