Do you think this would be a good starter camera for just experimenting? And do you think it's price is reasonable for everything it has?

Hey, i'm about to buy this camera to start vlogging, i figured it'd to the trick to start off with. I figured that this, like most things won't come with an SD card, what would be a good SD to start off with for not much money? Would i get away with a 16gb SDHC? or would i need to go 32? or bigger again... i am planing on doing it all in 1080p. Also, how good are the microphones on this? Thanks mate.

Hey! Thanks for the review, and I was wondering a few things. For one, I am 16 and looking for a first Camcorder. I would like to record like my PS Vita, around Seattle, that sorta stuff. Would you recommend this Camcorder for stuff like that? Or maybe the x200? What're your thoughts? :D thank you!

vloggers will love this cam because u can flip the lcd screen to view yourself while u film etc. When u do your first vlog I wanna see it so message me when u do!

You might have to have a class 6 or higher for higher quality it was the same for one of my other cameras and you change the quality in the settings i think?

I want to start making sketches or short stories for YouTube and I was wondering if this would be a scent enough camera to use. I am only 15 so I can't get a jobs for another year, this obviously means I don't have much income (apart from what I get for doing odd jobs). If I had to I could probably stretch to about £170 for a camera. Should I get it as a starter (considering what I want it for and my price bracket) or are there any other cameras that would be more suitable? Thanks.

What camera are you using (the camera used to make this video) and is the audio recorded from the camera?

I agree, the DSLR would no doubt take better footage, new lenses can make huge differences to the filming experience too. Worth the change.

Hi John, you're right, I didnt do an instructional video, I did a review. A review is a compilation of my thoughts on the camera. For a look at how to use it and navigate the menu's you will need to search for those accordingly.

I cant say I have tried the JVC but I know of it. I agree though that sometimes it is better to spend that little bit extra. Thanks for stopping by :)

Would you recommend this? I am deciding between this one, $150, a Vivikai, $200, and a Sony, $200. What does interpolated mean? I want a camera I can use both as a great digital and video camera.

It would do the job, you might also want to consider just a simple point and shoot camera with HD video. A Canon IXUS like I use would do the job just fine, this camera is more important if a long optical zoom is required.
