At 4:49 The orange part of the peel is good. The white part tastes bitter. The orange part can be grated and used in muffins and such. Just stop grating when you hit the white part, and wash the orange before grating.

Orange peeling tip: Roll the orange with the palm of your hand all over the table like rolling playdough. It makes the whole peel easier to get off and will usually come off in one or two pieces.
