Necrit:"That's a lie, there are no guns in Genshin:
Literally Fatui:"Am I a joke to you?"

I feel the gun gal won't have it as a main weapon but it will probably be flavour for a catalyst user, like Heizou punching.

Yae Miko is Catalyst but she attacks by waving a stick.
The girl with a gun could probably do something similar, she's could be a catalyst too but she "materializes" guns when attacking.

3:11 nope, i looked it carefully frame by frame, its still 2d animation and its very clever, you see the 8 shadows passing by, that represent the other fatui member, but also used to hide the frame where they switch different part of the 2d animation to make the 360 3d effect.

I don't know if you ever noticed, but Genshin LOVES to play with dichotomy as a theme. We've seen that theme many times before, such as with the electro archon (god of lightning, who chases eternity), with the dendro archon (god of wisdom, who looks like a child and knows nothing), with Rosaria (nun who doesn't care about the church), and many more. And this time with Fontaine isn't an exception.

We know that Fontaine is the Nation of Justice, and Focalor (the woman at the end holding the photograph) is the god of justice. And yet, even though she embodies justice, we see that she doesn't really care about justice. To her, the trials are just entertainment, a show for her to get enjoyment out of. So here we have the god of justice, who doesn't care about justice.

But I believe that will extend to Fontaine as a whole. Starting from here, this is pure speculation and theory on my part.

The lines "The essence of magic is making people believe in a lie.", "People don't realize how much they expect their eyes to tell them the truth.", and "What you see is not real. It's all a show." from the trailer seem extremely important to me. I believe they are referring to the trials of Fontaine themselves. So what if everything that is shown in the trials is fake? I strongly believe here we have our second dichotomy: Fontaine, the nation of justice, is actually corrupt. Their trials are fake, condemning innocents for crimes they didn't commit.

And following those lines, we get "Every part of the show is carefully controlled.", "By choosing the right time, the right place, and the right people.", and "Whoever controls these things control everything." These three lines support my theory that the people in power in Fontaine are corrupt. By implanting evidence at the right time and place, and with the correct people to plant that fake evidence, you can control the entirety of the Fontaine's justice system. And if you control that, you can just sentence the people you don't like for crimes they didn't commit, supported by fake evidence so that the nation believe justice is being achieved. We also see Neuvillette (the Head Judge guy that we see at the end of the trailer), and Clorinde (the woman with the gun). I believe that either these two are the people being used to implant false evidence to falsely convict innocents, or the Neuvillette is the mastermind, while Clorinde (either knowingly or unknowingly) is supporting him by implanting the false evidence. All of that wouldn't go noticed by the Hydro Archon, since she only watches over the trials for entertainment, nothing else. Either that, or she noticed and decided to do nothing about it.

Finally, we get the scene with Arlecchino. In that scene, she says "Good actors hone their craft to mesmerize the whole crowd." as she pushes down the standees of the two magicians. I believe this is to signify that, at the moment when you think you'll have caught the real culprits (Neuvillette and friends), you'll see that they weren't in control. The facade will fall down, with Arlecchino standing behind, revealing herself as the actual mastermind of the whole situation. We also see 8 shadows as the camera is rotating around her, representing the 8 other fatui harbingers that remain.

There's also one last thing that I want to bring up. The first few lines say "The original sin is the fairest: Everyone sinks... Make the most of the final feast, because for the sinners, the curtain call has come." This has to mean something, there's no way they just put that in the trailer for no reason. In christianity, the Original Sin refers to the sin that Adam and Eve committed (ignoring God's order to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, causing everyone since then to be born into sin, tainted by the first sin committed, or something like that). I honestly don't know if Genshin's lore has a event similar to it (either caused by a nation, humans, archons, or the primordials). That being said, I believe that the Fatui are using the situation in Fontaine to "bring the sinners to justice". The sinners here being either Celestia, the Heavenly Principles, the Archon, or an entity of that nature. And with the end of the Fontaine arc, we'll see the beginning of the end. Maybe even a repeat of Khaenri'ah (though I seriously doubt that's going to happen this early into the story lmao).

For any1 thats wondering the gun girl is based of a musketier from France thats y she has a gun she will also most likely have a Sword because of this and it is also very likely that she is like a royal guard to the hydro Archon just wanted to tell yall

They can associate the gun in normal attacks ( like mika with the crossbow) or just burst or skill.

Arlecchino's hands are like that. I've seen the sketches for the model and she has normal arms, that before the wrists turn to this dark grey /black. Dunno why, we might get that in the story or in the character story if she ever becomes playable

Hoyoverse developers and designers:
- Okey, guys, let's think about Arlecchino's design...
- YOU KNOW YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT SKIN???
- What skin?
- Nightmare Twisted Fate from LOL!!!
- Oh, yes, this skin is great, I've donated for it. We have to make the same design for Arlecchino, because I love this skin.
- GOT IT!!!

Interestingly, Arlecchino is more likely to be a Natasha Cioara/Raven expy from HI3, aka Natasha from HSR.

4:29 I can agree, whenever it is, all the characters here may very well become playable after Fontaine’s release 😆😅

I dont get how so many people be like: "Is this a girl or a dude?"
I never had to ask myself that question in Genshin before.

Come on, I mean... its not like the characters are on a level with for example Astolfo.
Its still pretty abvious, no?
In Genshin its more or less the question of: "Is he/she artificial or natural?"
Looking at Scaramouche and Shogun.
