It was very kind of Russia to volunteer to be the believable bad guys in video games and movies for the next couple of decades again.

I think even recently, a couple Russian politicians have stated that they should take back Alaska. Sorry, I can't stop laughing.

It was Putin who stated "Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart. Whoever wants it back has no brain."

That quote did not age well for him.

Random fact of the day:
The current president of Ukraine was originally a comedic actor. He played the president in a play once, and then literally everyone wanted him running the country.

Negotiations only apply when there is a stalemate or both sides willfully agree..
But if one side is kicking your teeth in, there is only comply with the demands of the victor

I'm Slavic(Czech) myself, the problem of Russia was, they didn't take us as equal partner but as a buffer zone against the enemy, which lead us to join NATO in order to be free and independent, now, our task is to help countries, who wants the same, Ukraine is most obvious fight between good and evil, half of our military equipment is already there( ok not half, 40 tanks, from our 120/Switzerland in return give us 15 Leopard 2/, 60 infantry fighting vehicles, 20 MLRS (from our 70), 20 self propelled howitzers(from I don't know how many), mi 24 Soviet attack helicopters, don't know the number, but it is still not enough to change course of war, that's why everyone has to do his part), but there are some countries in NATO, who do nothing or playing both sides, we shouldn't accept it, I'm talking to you Hungary and Turkey!

Great work! One piece that was missed was the Budapest memorandum that was signed in 1994 was supposed to guarantee Ukraine’s independence and sovereign land in exchange for the 1, 700 nukes left behind by Russia. This is partially why the US is so supportive of Ukraine - that and they’re one of the few countries that actually still care about freedom and democracy!

A nation that possesses more square miles of land than Pluto does not need other nations to act as a buffer to invasion. The fact that Russians have to bring up Napoleon when talking about Ukraine says that maybe Russians have not been paying attention to technological advancements in military transportation. The USA is no where near Afghanistan and had no problem invading. They say that nations are always preparing to fight the last war that was already fought, in Russia's case more like the war Russia fought 100 years ago.
