Absolutely right, The Assassin's Blade first and then release order is the way to go. Enjoy the rest of the series, it's soooo good! Heir of Fire is extremely good, probably my fav in the series.

I have only read Throne of Glass, and really couldn't get into it so I haven't read any more. This video made so much sense of that! I didn't realize there was a prequel that would have made me like the main character more. Also, I like romance but more as a subplot, and I think Throne of Glass unfortunately (as you said) does the opposite of what I am interested in. Still a great ASMR video thank you!

I agree about reading Assassin's Blade first! I read publication order and I think I'd have felt so much more impact if I had read it first :/ Also SAME about the competition aspect! I was expecting something along the lines of the end of ACOTAR and the competition storyline was barely there.
