If the Vikings do go with McCarthy, and it looks like that's the plan, they're screwed. McCarthy was an average at best QB in college and just because he looked good against 3rd & 4th string defenders folks in Minnesota have lost their minds.

Sam Darnald can't be blamed completely for the two loses.
Competition in the playoff is much better. Teams that are smart look for weaknesses or at least try to creat them. There are other reasons, like Protecrion, play calling and better competition! J.J. may be the Vikings future, but I think the Packers history of allowing quarterbacks to grow. Look at how bad teams can make garbage of a young quarterbacks. If Minnesota can change a Sam Darnold, what I'm saying is look at what caused the Vikings to lose in the last two games, over blame and shame!
Daniel Jones could be another Sam Darnold with Minnesota, if they fix the offensive line and prepare for each team that next each week. Like the Lions and Rams did in the two loses! I'm just fan, but is obvious that something caused the Vikings to fail, after such a Great Season.

I think its JJ. But I have a couple Unconventional scenarios, 1. If the Viking pay a full pay scale for a QB it will come via Trade. Justin Herbert. 2. This would take the NFL by storm. KOC Golden boy has always been Caleb Williams. The California kid. Thats why he was so in love getting Addison. That plan crushed so he went with JJ. Now the Bears hired Johnson and there is a lot of talk that him and Williams are not a good match at all for his system., JJ would be perfect in his system. Being in the same division both Coaches would be taking a huge risk. That would be the biggest issue of this Block Buster Trade ever happening. Dan Jones would go with JJ on either deal. But I am perfectly fine rolling with JJ. He is a winner. One loss since HS. That speaks volumes about his will to win. You could tell Sam didn't meditate before the two biggest games of his career. More like ADHD. Haha.
