Quantum computing uses a brute force approach to solve a problem in a massively parallel way. It's like trying to crack a safe that has a combination of consisting three two-digit numbers by simultaneously trying every possible combination on a million identical safes and then checking which safe is open.

Quantum computing is simple. In a traditional computer data is stored as a series of on/off pulses ( represented as 1 or 0) called bits. What makes a quantum computer different is it introduces a third possibility 1 and 0 simultaneously, called a qbit. That’s the simple version.
