Line 6 POD GO Beginner's Guide: Learn How to Use It in 2025!

Line 6 JUST released the new POD Go Firmware 2.50 update which adds several new amps to the unit - confirming my suspicion that this will continue to be a long supported item by Line 6. Because of that, I think it makes sense to revisit this platform and make sure you have what you need to get started with the POD Go!

This video is great. I am a beginner and looking to get something i can use to replicate almost any tone at home to make learning more fun. This is probably a stupid question but if I got the Pod Go, after pluggin my guitar into it, does the sound come out of the Pod Go, or do i have to plug the Pod Go into something else like a normal stereo style speaker or another amp? How does that work?

I did not find this helpful for a first time user. No mention of upgrading firmware etc using usb connection with Pod Go Edit.
