So these banks are going bust because they hold short term treasuries that have fallen in price much more than expected. So if USDC has to sell their treasuries they might be sitting on 10% loss on their Treasury portfolio.

If Circle finds another bank to put in the reserve they have lost on SVB it could go back to $1
But this proves that all stable coins are in danger when bank runs starts (And they will start this year)
