Well, finally a reviewer shows how the shelves react with weight on them. GREAT JOB .. I searched all over and bought the muscle rack but many said it had a weak frame SO I researched more and bought a monster rack / saferacks. < same company. These shelves have a C channel design and a support down the middle. the muscle rack used flimsy l brackets and no center support. guess I'll see when it gets here .

Can you put the box in the trunk or back seat to take home?

Are the square poles better than the round ones? What do you think of the Sterilite plastic shelves?

Is the 250 lb capacity per tier, for a total capacity of 1250? Or 250 spread across the 5 tiers, essentially 50 each? The packages unclear on this point.

I Bought 3 of these 5 months ago to put all my tools on, and I would suggest you get something stronger as all my shelves have collapsed on top of one another and blew out the legs on the bottom causing everything to fall off them. Their is no way in hell these shelves will hold anywhere close to 250 lbs. of weight per shelf let alone 100 lbs..I just got done trashing them and went out and got the Kobalt shelves hopefully they will last longer then craftsman shelves not to mention if your sliding a heavy tool box or something on the shelf it always gets stuck into the cut outs in the shelf they should of made them smooth so stuff slides into them easier. Bottom line Craftsman needs to get on their A game and go back to the drawing board and redesign this piece of shit shelving unit..
