What I like about this story is that he's in the body of the best friend instead of the protagonist. It works out for him since that means he isn't hindered by the canon story, and he's doing his best to make sure the story goes out as planned so that he can go with Sei.

The manga's story is that Sei liked Yuuichi, but she wants Siho to go for him. But Yuuichi is forever stuck in a love triangle with Siho and Kaori. At the same time, Yuuichi is one of those dumb romcom protagonists. Tsukasa is at least trying to avoid the eternal stupidity the protagonists usually have, and he's actually aware of it.
