I’m looking forward to the changes in iMessage the most. I wish we would get split screen on iPhone and color themes but it’s fine.

Keep in mind that this is still a DEVELOPER conference. Yes, the keynote has a wider audience, but the only content obligation is whatever features are available to developers. Biggest example: original Siri launch: never mentioned at the WWDC. At all. Not once. Not keynote, not in any sessions through the week. It was THE hallmark feature of the year for the new iPhone/iOS release that year. IPhone 4S, I think.

Why didn’t they mention it? There were no APIs. It couldn’t be accessed by 3rd party developers. It was only above the OS.

German nor any of the rumormongers have ever acknowledged awareness of this reality. A new lock screen may happen without anything but a simple restyling and repurposing of existing notification types. So they could save the announcement of that for the big iphone / iOS 15 rollout in the fall.

Apple needs to fix that bug causing the camera app and VoiceOver not to work simultaneously. Voiceover users still need to use the camera to make videos and scan qr codes.
