Σύμφωνα με μια λιτή ανακοίνωση που ανάρτησαν οι Ισραηλινές ένοπλες δυνάμεις, πριν από λίγα λεπτά, η εκεχειρία ανάμεσα στο Ισραήλ και την Χαμάς έπαυσε πλέον να ισχύει, καθώς η δεύτερη την παραβίασε και ο IDF επανεκκίνησε τη στρατιωτική επιχείρηση εντός της Λωρίδας της Γάζας.
Αναλυτικότερα η ανακοίνωση του IDF αναφέρει τα εξής:
"Η Χαμάς παραβίασε την επιχειρησιακή παύση και επιπλέον έβαλε προς το ισραηλινό έδαφος.
Ο Ισραηλινός Στρατός επανεκκίνησε τη μάχη κατά της τρομοκρατικής οργάνωσης Χαμάς στη Λωρίδα της Γάζας."

According to a terse statement posted by the Israeli Defense Forces, a few minutes ago, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has now ceased to apply, as the latter has violated it and the IDF has restarted the military operation inside the Gaza Strip.
In more detail, the IDF announcement states the following:
"Hamas violated the operational pause, and in addition, fired toward Israeli territory.
The IDF has resumed combat against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip."
