Σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του Ρωσικού υπουργείου Άμυνας, την οποία αναμεταδίδουν τα διεθνή μεγάλα πρακτορεία ειδήσεων, όπως το Reuters, ο Ρώσος υπουργός Άμυνας, Σεργκέι Σοϊγκού, ενημέρωσε σήμερα τον Ανώτατο Διοικητή των Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας, Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν, για την πορεία των στρατιωτικών επιχειρήσεων στην περιοχή του Λουχάνσκ, αναφέροντας του, ότι οι ρωσικές δυνάμεις μαζί με μονάδες της Πολιτοφυλακής της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας του Λουχάνσκ, έθεσαν υπό τον πλήρη έλεγχο τους, την πόλη Λισιτσάνσκ, μαζί με διάφορους κοντινούς οικισμούς, κατονομάζοντας τους μεγαλύτερους από αυτούς, που είναι ο Belogorovka, ο Novodruzhesk, ο Maloryazantsevo και ο Belaya Gora.
Αυτό φυσικά σημαίνει ότι έπεσε και η τελευταία μεγάλη πόλη στην περιοχή και πως υπάρχει πλέον πλήρη επικράτηση των ρωσικών δυνάμεων στο Λουχάνσκ.

This of course means that the last big city in the region has fallen and that there is now complete dominance of Russian forces in Luhansk.
