Thanks brother, i've been pondering this as an idea for some time as my driveway has a few spots that get gnarly come winter/spring. This seems to work well enough to justify trying it. i've been worried it might chip and be sharp enough to pop tires or something crazy but 2 years of use, yours seems to be holding up mighty fine.

I've used this same idea. Had long drive way with loose dusty gravel. And worked like a charm.
