Several years ago pastor David Guzik taught this message at a pastor's conference.

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephesians 2

FOR THROUGH HIM WE BOTH HAVE ACCESS BY ONE SPIRIT UNTO THE FATHER.

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God

We sing to the God who heals
We sing to the God who saves
We sing to the God who always makes a way
'Cause He hung up on that cross
Then He rose up from that grave
My God's still rolling stones away

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Ephesians 2:15

HAVING ABOLISHED IN HIS FLESH THE ENMITY EVEN THE LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES FOR TO MAKE IN HIMSELF OF TWAIN ONE NEW MAN so making peace

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ
Colossians 2:15-16

Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Whoever the quote was from saying it doesn't matter if you are gay you can come to JESUS. I didn't hear repentance in that quote.

If one is gay, they can still call on Jesus, its up to Holy Spirit of God to call them out of their confusion....and up to the individual to heed the calling.
