Bit of a late November TBR, but I got carried away with the US election! I'm hoping for a really good reading month in November, and hoping to bring my huge TBR down (although I did just buy 7 new books which sort of cancels this lot out...)

The Poppy War is great! The third part of it is very violent and graphic so I would check out tws if you need them, but I think it's well handled by the author. The historical context of the story is so interesting

I adored Mexican Gothic! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Ruin and Rising - I read the trilogy for the first time this year and reaaaally liked it, but the last book disappointed me so much. We Hunt the Flame is ya and was my favorite book so far this year! It’s got some pacing issues and is definitely a character driven story, but I didn’t mind it at all. I hope you enjoy it too!

I've heard mixed things about Mexican Gothic, but I still want to pick it up as seems to be quite an interesting read. I really need to read the Grisha books! I nearly picked them up from the library but not sure when I'll be able to get them now. Trying to see if I can find ways to borrow ebooks, or audio-books from my library 😁 Looks like you've got a heavy month, but I'm sure you'll be able to get through them all with the lockdown. I hope you enjoy them all!

You should do the Balancing the books game invented by Emma from Drinkingbymyshelf. If her TBR surpasses her read books she has to either read them or unhaul them.
