This is the HP sleeper. A once dreary office system turned budget gaming setup, this cheap system is made up of used parts totaling £60, or $80 in upgrades. So what can it do? Well, let's find out!

System Specs:
AMD FX 4100 @ 4.2GHz
8GB DDR3 Memory
AMD Radeon HD 5850 1GB Graphics Card
Windows 10
Corsair CX550M PSU

Thanks for watching :)

I think the seagull is a sleeper himself, I bet he knows everything about hardware and programming as well.

That FX Chip isnt doing too bad, id like to see how it holds up against a £12 Core i3 2120.

Brilliant and realistic budget build. I'm very surprised with the witcher 3 performance.
Loved the video as always, keep it up mate.

Love how low the performance is in CSGO while other games run just fine.

Damn you beat me to this. I wanted to make a pc build with my very early 2000's computer case that originally was my windows xp computer with less than a gig of ram and a 1 ghz cpu and a terrible gpu.

I forgot who did it exactly but someone showed that a lot of today's games play nicely or even better than before with an AMD FX 8320 as the cores are taken advantage of and or the game was optimized . I'm holding onto my AMD FX 6300 a bit longer still have my old Radeon HD 6970 that I picked up for $50 4 years ago but have moved onto the Radeon R9 280 backup (picked up for $100 last year) and upgraded to a GTX 1060 when I found one for $230 during Christmas.

This is amazing, I have the exact same case with a 9600k and 32gb ram and a ton of rgb cooling and fans 😂

DDR2 AND DDR3 compatibility on the same board? Awesome! If only modern boards could do that for 3/4...

If it’s a budget setup it’s already a sleeper

This was decent but u can get cheaper parts with better performance. I made a similar system but not as budget as this. 1998 generic chassis sold in india but has a i5 7600 and 1050ti.
