Yea! And if we don’t know then I think there is benefit in not pushing or prodding to get a commitment too quickly. Because I need to also decide if I WANT a commitment with someone whose character I have not had time to truly discover … it goes both ways. And OVER TIME is the key. I was married for 23 years officially & it took more than a few months or even a few years for me to peel away my own veil of not looking & him to even begin to think about showing his true character. Unfortunately I had already committed in marriage when I began to discover that the real character wasn’t what I was shown by my exes “representative” at the beginning.

Because initially and many times we don't know! We may think we do but we are human and make so many mistakes - our egos come into play and can actually cause us more problems. By admitting our lack of knowledge our hearts open up, soften and then we can actually learn what we're meant to learn.

Yep, that's what I said when I was dumped, he asked me out the day after my Dad's funeral and while attending his furnal got Covid the second time, then 3 mths later lost my job due to health issues.

But Not having to be his Partner and just friends has been better as I don't have to dim my light anymore and submit, I'm an INFJ.
I love him and he doesn't me.
But we have a bond that we both have Never had before.
I don't Need a title I just wanted his companionship.

Not everyone unfortunately has true values character only deceptive characters…you love and love even when hurt but still you arrive at the point where you can no longer even recognise the person you were so full love trust
