U.S. needs a 'wave of compassion,' says Sen. Tim Kaine in victory speech

"It's more than about a blue wave," said Democrat Tim Kaine after re-winning a Virginia Senate seat on Tuesday. "What this country needs in 2018 is a wave of compassion, a wave of character, a wave of decency," he said to supporters.
