I had a yellow top back in the day and that thing lasted about 8 years, I get a more modern one and it crapped out in 2

Because Red top is for cranking amps and LEDs yellow top is for car audio you should have been having a yellow top in your vehicle not a red top

At 5:55 of your video, If you are doing that (using STD mode) to your Redtop then you are charging with the wrong charging algorithim. The RED Top is an AGM battery, so that may be why you are going trhough them every two years. Not an Optima fan anyway, I just caught it in your video. Anyhow nice upgrade with the XS power. Good luck with it. .

Are you having any voltage issues with the battery? Is the battery voltage hungry?

I thought you could’ve put AGM batteries underneath the hood of our older car unless the car came with the AMG battery BMW keep the batteries in the trunk. They got AMG batteries help me out. I’m looking to buy one if you can keep it underneath the hood and no problem.

Mine died after numerous years. I need another one but that price is up there. I'm looking to cut corners now till I'm able to pay that $400 dollars. Maybe a Enrgie AGM or a Kinetik battery. I just need it to start my SUV. It gotta be a D3400 type model with that screw hole option.

Watch video but I will always buy xs there the best period in my opinion and something change with optima batteries awhile back and I warranty a red top 3 times in a year. Js

I had my XS Power AGM D3400 in my truck for over 3 years and it's still going strong. Optima used to be good batteries about 10 years ago but they are trash now. If you want solid voltage and power stick with XS.

What amp and subs are you running with that battery?

Why did you decide on an AGM? I run a big cb radio amp and I use a 12 pack of XS Power Lithium cells. Twelve of these will supply way more power than any AGM battery. I run my CB and amp at 15.5vdc, as well.

Yellow Top that I've had for 14 years and still pushing out 14.6 volts. How? Trickle Charger...

Yellow top is for the systems, not the red tops

Why add a stock radio and then have to use more space to add the aftermarket, when the aftermarket already has designated space? Just for the look?

How long did it take u to charge it all the way

yeah .. after 2020 the yellowtop batts don't work as well as they use to. I usually upgrade all my cars to use AGM batteries but lately that brand has gone downhill.

Optimas are po po now. I have one from 2011 that still starts my 600hp car. I've thrown 3 away that i bought within 2 years of them going bad. No more.
