Low ropes are totally about techniques. During my BMT days in the late 80s, when I cleared the ropes, I used extremely minimal arm strength. Almost completely my leg and waist works. I could stop in the middle of the air with my arms outstretched and still wouldn't fall.

In case when your feet might lose the ropes, do not hold on to the ropes with your hands like you are superman but kinda hug them close to your chest, then start using your feet to step on the ropes again. Sure can work one.

By the time I moved on to the unit, the ropes station was my most favourite one because that was where when I could take a rest.

Think those who didn't do quite well in low rope who always gets blister didn't seem to master the rope lock with their boots. Its mostly pushing up instead of pulling up.

In future modern warfare no need strenuous training. We require highly educated smart soldiers with AI knowledge to man robot soldiers unmanned planes, drones, jam enemies military hardwares. No need macho rambo soldiers.

Loll. All no count. Shoulder never touch floor during sit-up. Elbows never straighten during push-ups.
