My Favorite Camera Straps: BlackRapid Yeti/Hybrid & Hyperion Street Photography Strap

I share my favorite camera straps right now in 2017. They are the BlackRapid Yeti dual strap, like the new BlackRapid Hybrid Breathe and the Hyperion Street Photography neck strap. Both serve specific purposes for what I do. The black rapid dual strap is what I use on a gig, the dual camera setup is perfect for my wedding and event work. Plus being able to make it a single strap as well, makes it easy to work with only one camera. The Hyperion strap is very affordable hand made to custom order that I use for street photography. Check Out both straps below:

Peak design straps...as it's easy to remove strap when you don't want one, which is often for me. Also, like that I can have the right side of the strap connect to a tripod mount on the bottom of the camera freeing up the area where you hold the camera and reach for shutter with no strap interference.

Upstrap pro. I've traditionally used the mfg. strap and especially like the Canon M series straps, but I like Upstrap so much that they will probably become my standard strap.

I've been through many camera straps and I always come back to Black Rapid. Must be a reason right? Well they just work and are simple. I love the fact that I can remove it from the camera and there is no extra dongles or attachments still attached to camera *cough* Peak Design *cough*. I use the Black Rapid Metro strap and it's unfortunate that they no longer make this strap. It's very lightweight, discrete, breathable and easily foldable to fit in a bag unlike Peak Design slide. Yes..the Metro strap was designed for smaller and lighter mirrorless cameras but I use this strap on my Nikon D610 and it's very comfortable. I don't use heavy lenses so it's not a big deal. If I was using the pro lenses like the 24-70/70-200 2.8s then I'd probably get the RS Sport. But for the type of photography I do, the smaller Metro strap works perfect or I just go strapless. Sometimes straps just get in the way of my shooting, it really depends on the situation.

Under 20 bucks. What a sweet deal! Thanks for the info. I love peak design neck straps. Reminds me of a seat belt .

I have a $5 strap from aliexpress. Couldn’t tell you how many complements it’s gotten from all around the world.

Hi Eric. I know I'm kind of late in giving a response to this video. I'm curious about the Hyperion neck strap in relation to it being installed to your then XPro2 cam. Having mentioned that what you would've wanted was more padding to protect the camera body from coming into contact with the circular metal rings that were used to connect the strap to the XPRO2 camera lugs, did you happen to observe some scratches within the XPro2's lugs' area perhaps as a result of the metal rings occasionally hitting it? Thank you.

The Hyperion doesn't look adjustable.

Using two cameras with two of 'em and not bumping like your "ouches" make me hesitate.

It does look comfortable and very cool.

I really like the Sony a6000 or the Sony A7 straps. I think I'm the only one that gets fussy if I don't get a stylish camera strap
