I use the old Black Rapid Sport strap and it is possible (though fiddly) to remove the underarm strap - I used a small flat-blade screwdriver to ease it out of the slots and it works fine for me.

Very, very good with you without being "preachy" or a sales spokesman.I love the video. The one thing that blackrapid should have done after all of these years is redesigned that Brad strap go under the other arm. Currently, it wrinkles the crap out of my suit when I'm shooting at a wedding and slipped off my suit.

Very useful review.

I have a D3300 with a 18-300 lens, quite heavy.
When I travel, many days I have the camera on me for hours, especially while trekking. So I need a strap that will keep the weight off my neck.
At the moment I have a BR street breathe which I use in sling mode, I like the attachment method but it’s not comfortable for my camera, apparently it’s suited for lighter weights. Also, it keeps slipping off my shoulder when I pick up the camera to shoot or when trekking (uneven movement).
I’ve been researching this strap vs the PD slide.
Re the Brad strap, does it chafe under the arm? Is it comfortable?
I saw a review where it was actually connected under the left arm, the reviewer claimed it works better.

I’ve read many reviews that say the metal clip of the BRAD strap comes off way too easily. Have you noticed that?
