what i hated the most was how none of Andy’s friends stood by him when his job was taken from him in the most unfair way possible. they switched up so quick.

Honestly Andy really had every right to be angry here. He earned the job of manager and Nellie just came in and stole it from him, and Robert, who really should have made Nellie give up the job that she never even officially earned in the first place, just stood by and let her walk all over him, and then he fires Andy for pulling the same fucking stunt Nellie pulled on him!

Basically, all I can say is, thank god David Wallace bought back Dunder Mifflin a few episodes later.

This is why Michael was so missed. Even after all that, if he was still there, he wouldn’t have fired anybody.

Am I the only one that was SO frustrated they just let Nellie take Andy’s job??

I always forget that Andy has anger management issues because he was always excited and singing.

What ended up happening to Andy really rubbed me the wrong way. Just when it seemed that he was growing, doing a good job and taking the position seriously, Nelly comes and steals his job then Andy just spends the rest of the series in total misery. In the final seasons they wrote him to be a jerk, much like he was when the character debuted, but after years of character growth in the opposite direction it kind of felt like a betrayal, like if Pam had ended the series as a receptionist.
