My father had its own metal company. A welder who was in the company long over his actual pension came every day just to work. His wife had died and he had just fun working, so he came. Every day. He fired him over 400 times, and they argued every day, just for the sake of it. He still came every day until he actually died at age 86. My father gave him a big funeral and cried tears at his grave. Don`t know if Colton is like that for Linus, but this discussion remembered me of the welder.

Reminds me of a fanfic where Pepper Potts got the job as Tony's secretary and kept it through tony firing her no less than once a day for the first month by just knowing Tony was too lazy to inform HR and showing up to work the next day.

At one of my first jobs everyone in the kitchen was joke about firing each other all the time. I told a newer employee they were fired not thinking about how they weren't used to the culture there and they nearly broke down crying. Immediately appologized and told them it was just a joke and that we "fire" eachother all the time.

My favorite Colton firing was the long long scavenger hunt that ended with a new car, and when Colton unlocked the doors with the key fob, the car drove away to reveal Linus holding the sign "you're fired"

colton is legitimately one of my favorites at ltt.

the day he goes for real will be sad, and a happy one. based on his work ethics and such, colton would only leave if it were for something drastically better so that at least makes me happy.
