McCaskill: Republican Budget Proposal ‘a fairytale’ That Won’t Prevent Further Cuts to the Military

U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill this week questioned top Army and Air Force officials on the Army’s Substance Abuse Program, stresses on the Air Force’s remotely piloted aircraft pilots, and ongoing efforts to combat sexual assault in the military. She also addressed the Senate Republican budget released this week, calling it, “a fairytale” that will do nothing to end the across-the-board spending cuts threatening military readiness.
