Honestly I hate using cases, but I like the idea of having a phone in perfect condition when I want to upgrade and sell this one.

I put my phone in at least 5 inches of bubble wrap

You need to have a dedicated pocket for your phone. don't put other crap in there with it. I find the worse problem is leaning against the phone, or having it put pressure on it when you stretch your leg out or are moving around. these phones have gotten so big, that's the newest problem.

I used to wear cases on my phones till I realized I have never dropped it so I went caseless on my next phone and still haven’t dropped it. It depends how careful you are with your phone.
