I’ve been patiently waiting for this! I paused the video and went and ran the same test on every rig in my house (mine, wife’ and son’s) which are all of varying ages and configurations to pit them against your budget build. More to see how ours are holding up compared to newer technology. I’m happy/sad to announce that none of us need to upgrade this year.

The first thing I do after installing Windows is turn on file extension visibility. Maybe I'm old-fashioned. I look at text, not icons.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Microsoft just put a nice up to date version of Windows on the media download. It wouldn’t cost them a penny more and it surely would save their update servers billions of hours. But no they prefer to waste everyone’s time and make you do a massive update the first time you use it.

Even tho I don't need this info I still watched it, and I have to say this is the first good guide I've seen for noobs on how to install their windows.
All you see is hardware guides or "just install windows and do your driver updates"

I love my ryzen 7 2700x. It's faster than I expected it to be.
It encodes H.264 almost 6 times faster than a 6th Gen i7, and 2.5 times faster than a dual 4c2t xeon server.😍

I always have one of my USB key with both win10 & Linux ready to be dual booted if needed. UEFI and legacy both, just in case.
